So ClaimLens is built to abstain. When the photograph is too poor, the confidence too low, or the impact lands on a load-bearing zone, it stops and asks for a physical teardown instead of producing a number.

  • Hidden suspension geometry and camber distortion cannot be certified from 2D photographic evidence alone.
  • SRS airbag sensor readiness, seatbelt pretensioners, and ADAS radar calibration require OBD-II diagnostic scanning.
  • Sub-surface chassis rail micro-cracks or weld-seam tearing require physical undercarriage laser measurement.
